Scandinavian Association for the Study of Pain and Scandinvavian Journal of Pain will present information about the organisation and the journal during the IASP meeting in Boston September 12-16. We will have a booth, and people from the SASP board will be present during breaks. Please come and visit us!

The Scandinavian Association for the Study of Pain (SASP) and De Gruyter will be cooperating to publish the Scandinavian Journal of Pain (SJPAIN), which has most recently been published by Elsevier. The new cooperation will begin with Volume 18 (2018) which will appear in the first quarter of 2018 You can find more information in our press release on this subject. Master course in pain management

NEW MASTER’S COURSE IN PAIN MANAGEMENT The University of Copenhagen offers a comprehensive master’s course in pain management. The course is conducted in Danish and is intended for health professionals with a minimum of two years of relevant job experience within pain management. The course consists of six 2 ½ days sessions in September 2012 to April 2013 and submission of three written assignments (15 ECTS). The course is led by Professor Lona Louring Christrup, Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy, University of Copenhagen and Dr. Niels-Henrik Jensen, Multidisciplinary Pain Centre, Herlev Hospital.
